Meet My Horses

"String of Pearls" or "Pearl" as we call her, is a Standardbred mare that I adopted from the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.  She's a big girl at 16.1 hands and is an all around great riding horse.  She rides English or Western.  Pearl has been a part of our family for 12 years.

"Hollywood" (AQHA "Skippin Tex") is a flashy Palomino gelding that become part of our family while we were living in Texas.  He came to me for training and never left!  He's for advanced riders and will ride English or Western.  Hollywood joined our family in 2008.
"Wedding Blues" or "Blue" is a Registered Standardbred mare that was rescued by the Standardbred Retirement Foundation and we adopted her in 2001.  Blue can do it all!  She's the mama here at the farm.  Blue has done lessons, trail rides and pretty much anything I ask her.  She loves to go fast when given the opportunity!

We found "Missy" when we were living in Texas and knew she was the perfect addition to our growing family.  She was 3 years old and untrained.  I trained her to saddle and she has done lessons, trail rides, costume contents and more!  She's very lovable with a lot of personality!

"Sugar" (AQHA "Measure The Sugar) is a Registered Quarter horse mare who is as sweet as her name implies.  Her former owners used her for lessons, trail rides and hunter paces.  Through no fault of her own, she ended up at an auction house where she was rescued by a local horse rescue.  We found her on Facebook and fell in love!  She joined our family in 2012.

"Jolie" is a 10 year old Standardred mare.  She was born at a local Standardbred breeding stable but, because of a mix up in her papers, she was unable to race and deemed "useless".  She was given to me when she was 6 months old by my farrier.  I trained her and she's just a great all around horse.  She's easy to work with on the ground as well as under saddle.  Jolie rides primarily English and is perfect for beginners!
